Ponzettis Pizza in Ocean City

Ponzetti's is Maryland's best pizza. The taste and the quality has stayed the same over the many years since I first tried it. It's a true Trenton style pie. Anytime I am anywhere near Ocean City I have to stop and get some. Wish there was a location on the other side of the bridge so I could eat it more often.

Their pizza is so good. My family has been a fan for literally decades. So when we got a house out in Bethany we mostly would go to Grotto's because their pizza is super delicious too. But last time I drove out I thought why not go back to old tradition and order some Ponzetti's on my way up. It did not disappoint. Wish we had pizza like this in Montgomery County :(

Great location near the Delaware/Maryland border on the Ocean City side. Best pizza in the area that offers separate restaurant dining or booth style seating in the bar with daily and happy hour specials and multiple big screen TVs for sport fans. Service is prompt and friendly. The only area that needs improvement is this is not a Steelers bar.

We ordered carryout from this location and were very disappointed. They said masks were a requirement on the door but no one was wearing one including the bartenders and person who retrieved the food. They also didn’t take the time to mention to a very annoyingly drunk patron that she needed to love away from the carry out desk since she was spilling her drink everywhere and right in the way with her exposed very loud mouth. Couldn’t you have mentioned to her if she could please stand behind the plexiglass put there for a reason? Pizza is extremely saucy which is something people l guess. Onion rings were really bad and didn’t come with any kind of sauce which is whatever, but come on.Try surf’s edge deli and pizzeria next door! Very good food, kind staff, going above and beyond to where masks while working in the kitchen and keep patron safe by having a really easy somewhat contactless pickup setup.

Pizza was really good and the drinks were great. Service was pretty quick considering it was the 4th of July weekend

Sad to say .. Thursday 1045pm no employees had face masks and they were drinking. All customers except 2 had no face masks. Unfortunately OC will have a covid outbreak!

Biting into this pizza was amazing! It has been a couple of months since our last visit, our expectation was fulfilled. Pizza is just right and delicious, the service was great, and the bathrooms were clean and nicely updated a few years ago. And they have birch beer, which goes great with pizza pie!

Pizza was delicious. Ranch was perfectly ranchy. Waitress and servers were very friendly, quick and precise.

Pizza is good. Have been going there for 15 years at least once a year.

I just got a pizza and am very disappointed. I use to love this pizza but what I got today is terrible. It tastes stale with very little flavor with hardly any cheese or tomato sauce. The crust was so hard it is inedible. I called to complain and was told that is the way we make.... poor customer service. Unfortunately I'm going to have to be a new place for pizza.

Best pizza I've ever had outside of NYC. The crust was *chef's kiss* and I *loved* their sauce and the way they incorporated it.A bit pricey per pie; but don't let that scare you away.

Ponzettis service was the worst I have seen in ocean city! They were rude. They gave away people’s food! They traded food with another restaurant (once again for someone else’s food)! I’ve been coming to ocean city forever and this place is the worst! Even in the midst of the pandemic other restaurants are handling it like champs! Ponzettis is falling flat! I’m so disappointed!!!!

Love their pizza! We got a large pizza with different toppings. The Pepperoni was so good. My husband had onions, mushrooms and sausage and loved it. The crust is thin but we like it that way. The sauce and cheese were very tasty!

Best pizza ever!

Online this looked like a good authentic Italian pizza restaurant. I was in the mood for a calzone....theirs doesn’t have ricotta cheese, so, not interested. We got pizza. Lousy! Crust tastes like cardboard

On july 5th we ordered Pizza and garlic bread , I think that's the worst Pizza we got ever and the garlic bread tasted like day before bread,,maybe because that night they were very busy

This pie was surprisingly tasty! Great amount of sauce, quality mozzarella! I highly recommend and will definitely return.

Food is a 5. Great pizza style with fresh toppings and great apps. Our waitress was very friendly so great service. Only thing that nerks me is the game section. More games don't work correctly than do and no signs on them. Explain this to my 5 yr old and she's smart enough to ask, "If games are broken, why are they here or why isn't there a sign on them?" I recommend either scrapping the entire game section or put forth the effort to make sure they work properly.

Service was quick. Pizza was standard with a pretty solid cheese. Salads were a joke. You may as well buy a bag of romaine and make your own. Fries are a standard frozen product fried. Overall it’s just average.

My boyfriend and I came for 4th of July weekend and decided to stop in. We ended up eating here every night! The staff were so friendly. We had the same waitress and she was so lovely! The pizza is the best I’ve ever had, with the perfect sauce and cheese ratio and crust that is to die for. Easily one of the best parts of our trip was coming here. If you’re ever in Ocean City, stop here! You won’t be disappointed.

We went to Ponzetti's last night (7/28/2020) and it was awesome, as usual. We go every summer! They are very short-staffed, like most places at the beach this summer, but they are still serving pizza (no pasta) and the 1 or 2 servers working did a great job. If you call and they don't answer, it's likely just because they are short-staffed, but please still go and patronize! We didn't have a wait and the pizzas were delicious and the staff very friendly. Clean bathrooms too!

Pizza is always great but the service was completely horrible. Only one other table other then ours. Waitress was to busy outside smoking and hanging out with another waitress to do her job. Thankfully the one women who was taking care of the other table was willing to help us once for some water. Once more the pizza was great but our waitress should find another profession.

Great pizza! Veggie pizza was great! Usually get pepperoni but wanted to try something different and it's just as good.

The food is really good. The staff are efficient and the service is good. I have had lunch there several times and dinner twice. Very consistent and I will keep going back.

I ordered a cheese pizza, and the pizza I got was literally all sauce and no cheese. When going to return this sauce pie to get a replacement, the employee told me that “that’s how all their pizzas were made” and I argued saying I’ve gotten pizza made from here before and it was not covered in sauce. They refused to make me a new pizza or give me my money back. Their idea of solving the issue is cooking the pizza longer..... THATS NOT GOING TO SOLVE THE SAUCE PIE ISSUE BUDDY. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER

Our last night of our trip to Ocean City MD. Figured we would get packed up and prepare for our long ride home the next day. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza and 16 of the Old Bay Wings. I am a fan of the old bay wings and seasoning overall and have had wings of this flavor several times. These were terrible. Rubbery and nasty. The pizza tasted like it was from our local skating rink. There is probably store bought pizza out there that was better than this. This by far was the worst pizza and wings that we have had in all the years that we have been coming to OCMD. $36 and change for garbage. In our 30 plus years....the worst!

Very very very unorganized! Server was very nice The cook was terrible overcooked chicken cheese steak! I don't know how you do that!?? Would never go back for anything other than maybe a pizza!

got a pizza with onions and hots, and I could barely taste either topping or the sauce. The pizza is just missing something (flavor). It was almost like eating cheese on bread (the does was plain too) with a little oil.

Great pizza. Had their eggplant fries. Quite good. Definitely better than the usual French fries!

Do not click on the menu link to order online. They do not have online ordering,... but apparently they still received my online order somehow. Ended up paying full price both online and in store for a double charge. Their google web links have most likely been compromised, or the store is aware and still accepting the double charges. Otherwise, okay pizza but not worth 2X the price or the haggle of having your bank information possibly stolen. I should've called.

The best pizza! A local favorite and very friendly owners. An arcade for the kids and a bar that has amazing service

Their food is so phenomenal, we ate there 2 out of 4 nights of vacation! Great prices with low wait time! Highly recommend!
